LAKE PERFORMANCE

WHAT'S HAPPENING?

When you look in it, you see yourself in motion. Or is it the water that moves? Lake is a mysterious place were only extraordinary characters can survive, lead by a transforming environment with un-usual sounds. To find out what magic is hiding under water, you first have to jump!

This performance combines theater, movement and written text together with live electronic music, set design and visuals. All these elements create the atmosphere of Lake but also change its atmos-phere constantly by interacting with the characters and with each other.

Maybe you wonder how all of these things came together for one play? Well, when a group exists of a writer, a musican, designers, performers and digital artists, a story develops in to something more than just a regular theater play! We are 10 people of 6 different nationalities, having different backgrounds. We work close together, using our different skills and points of view to create one multi-minded play!

We found each other and started this project to play Lake for the first time at the Prague Quadrennial 2015 - 's worlds largest festival in Theater Space and Design! There we had an amazing time and we received many positive reactions about Lake. However, now we want to rehearse, improvise and work together even more to bring Lake to the next level. So that next theater-season Lake is ready for you to see it! And who knows, maybe you even want to take a jump...
